use gdb from simulator library (or1ksim_init/run) not or32-uclinux-sim

gdb works fine from or32-uclinux-sim.
But there was no implementation for gdb from simulator library API (or1ksim_init/run).
I would like to debug software code using gdb in world not standalone or1ksim environment.

Hi swaka, You are quite correct. I had not considered this when preparing the API version of the library. I will investigate how to manage this with a future release. It is my intention to provide a version of the SystemC wrapper (which uses the simulator library) implementing GDB access via a debug port. However this is a separate project for later this year. I'll leave this report open, so the issue continues to be tracked. Jeremy |
