Originally suggested by Shinji Wakatsuki It is a little bit difficult to make their own elfloader. So API for elfloader should be provided, split from ISS.

Hi Wakatsuki-san Thanks for this suggestion. An OpenRISC ELF loader is part of binutils. This can be used for any application requiring their own ELF loader. It would make sense for Or1ksim to also use the binutils libraries. However since the current loader works, I do not forsee it being replaced. Remember that serious use of Or1ksim is through GDB. Any programs loaded that way will use the GDB ELF loader (which is the one in binutils). I am marking this request as closed.
