I am new to this, so how do I simulate using modelsim with the current files? Is there anything else I need or is all the files provided enough for me to simulate?

Does your question is about Mminiuart2 or Modelsim?
There is an existing testbench for the Miniuart, it should simulate some send/receive characters as far as I remember. |
