Adding SFR peripherals to the T51 8052 core

Hello,
I want to add SFR peripherals to the T51 8052 core to be connected to the SFR bus. The goal is to add modules like I2C, PWM, Compare registers, like the one you can find in the NXP 80C552, a 8051 derivative. Did anybody write SFR peripherals before in VHDL? Are there some VHDL examples available or a tutorial on the SFR bus? I like to have some help. The goal is to make a 8051 derivative from the T51 8052 core, like e.g. 80C522 which is 100% instruction compatible with the actual derivative, so that the original ROM code will run out of the box. Any help appreciated. /Pascal |
