The OpenRISC 2000 project will be working towards the development of a next generation OpenRISC architecture. It has been initiated, by those working with the original OpenRISC 1000 architecture, because of a belief that the work towards modifying and improving upon the existing architecture will doubtless result in what can be considered a successor to OR1K.

This wiki will be used initially as a consensus building site, as the contributors mull over the existing architecture, and for discussion and decision making about OR2K's definition and implementation.

Ultimately it is expected to become a useful tool for those involved with developing and using the OR2K architecture and its various implementations.
