Universal Programming Cable: Platforms Amontec Chameleon This is possible one of the best existing platforms for implementing different cable configurations. The dongle vendor Amontec (http://www.amontec.com) also provides configuration files for different cables, creating own configurations is also possible as the specifications are available. Currently tested configurations (with Chameleon) CheapI2C (tested with PonyProg 2.06c) Virtual dummy printer (just allows to print anything to LPTx) Xilinx Cable III (only cable sense tested) Altera ByteBlaster MV (only cable sense tested) Altera ByteBlaster II (only cable sense tested) In preparation Altium's LiveDesign compatible Cable (extended Xilinx P3)
