If a user fails to specify the target when configuring Or1ksim, configuration still succeeds. However the subsquent <strong>make</strong> will fail with a confusing message

... -DHAVE_CONFIG_H: command not found</pre>[/q]
<p>
It should be a requirement for the user to specify the target, and configuration should fail if this does not lead to a viable target tool chain.
