Since last week, I cannot receive any emails through my buenos@opencores.org email address.
All emails sent here supposed to be forwarded to my gmail account.
Can someone fix this?

even the oc-admin email address bounces back.
The email server is down.
Has been down for several days.

Why is this happening?
Was the forwarding server service permanently discontinued?

No, we did not discontinue the mail service, and we are not planning to.
Unfortunately the current system (as you notice) is backfiring a lot...
but the dev-team is working on a more stable solution.

We cannot foresee a horizon for the delivery of the new mail service at the moment,
but we will certainly make sure the community will get promptly notified once this will be deployed.

is quite excellent in many ways. And Discourse is good too. I'd be willing to port the data over to a new system do the sysadmin and sponsor a years hosting up front if need be. Of course, I'd take care of the email forwarding and make sure there was an admin interface to make it easy for admins to manage the email process.

I once started the worlds most popular forum for those writing algorithmic trading systems which had a few hundred active members and a few thousand relatively active readers and tens of thousands of lurkers so I'm familiar with the community building dynamics.

I really like what is offered here but it looks like the admins are busy doing pay work and need help. Let me know if you want some.

I responded to your email, today twice, but I assume it did not reach your mailbox.

There is no way to contact any of the core-owners for cooperation work, as everyone has OC email addresses, that don't work.
