Hi,
Our requirement is to install the GNU tool chain, newlib, uclibc,or1ksim,linux kernel. Once this all tools are able to run, we will install or_proxy(it's USB driver) to debug on physical FPGA HW. Our PC environment is: 1)LINUX Ubuntu10.10 64-bit 2)Processor AMD64-bit Please let us know if this environment is best enough to run all the tools listed above. I will checkout all the tools from Opencore SVN. Thanks, A.vamsi |

You should be able to follow my tutorial from beginning to end. I have exactly the same setup:
http://www.rte.se/blog/blogg-modesty-corex/openrisc-1200-soft-processor I recommend to use orbuild to build the GNU toolchain: http://www.rte.se/blog/blogg-modesty-corex/using-orbuild Sven |
