If anyone on the list is interested to know more about SystemVerilog I can recommend the new article by Stuart Sutherland on EE Times: http://www.eedesign.com/features/exclusive/showArticle.jhtml?articleId=18200795 The article tries to convey that SystemVerilog is *not* just for System design, but is a good enhancememt to Verilog, enhancements very useful for RTL design. Also note that the free Verilog simulator Icarus Verilog by Stephen Williams is rapidly gaining support for SystemVerilog. http://www.icarus.com/eda/verilog/ For those of you using FreeBSD for EDA development there is a port of Icarus Verilog (in /usr/ports/iverilog) that yours truly maintains.
