Ftp site is not working. #116

I am trying to install gnu toolchain on ubuntu and the ftp site is not connecting. Do you guys take down the ftp during nights ?

I am getting the below message.

I'm trying the same download and is also failing (last tried Sat 1:30 PM PST) - Thanks

In my case I can connect to the ftp server (ftp://195.67.9.12) but when trying to get into /toolchain I get the following message (logged in as ocuser / pass oc and also tried with my user name)

550 /toolchain: Permission denied

Same when clicking on the link

Hi Guys, has this gone down again?

I get the same timeout when trying to install for cygwin:

$ sh MOF_ORSOC_TCHN_v5c_or32-elf.sh

The OpenRISC toolchain install script - Provided by ORSoC & MeansOfFreedom.net Version v5c

This script will install tools required for development on the OpenRISC platform This version (v5c) includes: gcc-4.2.2, binutils-2.18.50, uClibc-0.9.29 linux-2.6.24, gdb-6.8, busybox-1.7.5 and or1ksim-0.4.0

Please follow the prompts to select the install location.

Note: Two new directories, or32-build and or32-download, will be created in the current directory for storing downloaded files and building the tools. Also: This script attempts to mount a ramdisk image in a local directory to copy in the freshly built busybox. This requires root user privileges - if they are not deteceted the existing busybox binaries will remain in the ramdisk image.

Please report this to the script maintainers.

A useful report would contain information such as the tool being built/"make"d when the error occurred and the relevant lines of console output or log file relating to the error. It also helps to include information about your the host OS and version of GCC. A good place to look for solutions, and report any bugs, is at the OpenRISC project's bug tracker on OpenCores.org:

hi all I am trying to install openrisc tool chain on my windows xp machine. I installed cygwin and run the script file.. getting the following error

The FTP server has not working for last night up until this morning. The FTP issue was fixed this morning and are now working. Note that the OpenCores servers has changed the IP address, so make sure that it doesn't use the old IP addresses. The new IP address is: 92.43.36.68
