Hi Raul,
Yeah, I ran into the make distclean issue too. Sorry about the delay getting back to you. I've run into problems getting the on-board Exar XR21V1410 UART-to-USB conversion chip working. The data sheet says that the UART interface to the FPGA defaults to 9600 baud, 8N1, no flow control but when I set the minsoc UART to deliver that, I just get garbled characters in minicom on my PC. I'm working on this issue now. I'm reluctant to submit my code until I can at least get the UART and ethernet minsoc sample code working. That will hopefully be soon but there seems to be a lot of weird surprises with this board. Any UART related tips would be appreciated. Also, let me know if I should just start a new thread for this since we're now way off topic on the original problem. Thanks, Geoff |

Thank you! like you said, it was a problem with my synthesis. Works great now.
How can you fixed the problem you mentioned before in this forum? I am sucking in the same problem using the the same board. Looking for your reply.
The board I use is a XUPV5-LX110T (ml509 basically). |
