OC-site overload disruptions [solved]

Dear users,

During the last few weeks some of you might have experienced service disruptions due to an unpredicted overload on the mail service. This also lead to an email notifications pile-up from updates on projects and new posts on forums. This in turn explains the sudden inrush of messages from the site you might have noticed during the course of today.
