or1ksim xterm UART interface broken with RSP #34

With RSP enabled, the Or1ksim UART with xterm output does not appear to work. It issues an error about and interrupted call. Thereafter the UART will not take input.
The solution is to ensure the read routine retries in the event of an interrupt.
