of Web pages you have visited recently. Use this panel to quickly get a structured overview of possible new pages to visit. </p> <p> If you right-click a link item, the standard <a href="context.html#linkcontext">Link</a> menu will appear with an extra option: </p> <table class="menu"> <tr> <th></th> </tr> <tr class="makesep"> <th></th> </tr> <tr> <th>Lock panel</th> <td>Freeze the links panel</td> </tr> <tr class="makebottom"> <th></th> </tr> </table> <p> <span class="note">Tip:</span> When you visit for example a search engine or an index page, click the "Lock" button to temporarily freeze a list of all links. </p> <h2 id="hotlist-windows">Windows</h2> <p> The Windows panel displays a tree-structured view of your open pages and application windows. </p> <p> To see how this works, press <kbd>Ctrl</kbd> + <kbd>Alt</kbd> + <kbd>N</kbd> a couple of times to create some applications windows. Then press <kbd>Ctrl</kbd> + <kbd>N</kbd> a couple of times while in the different application windows. </p> <p> To close a page or an application window, select the item and press <kbd>Delete</kbd>. </p> <h2 id="hotlist-panel">Web pages as panels</h2> <p> To show a Web page in Opera's Hotlist, bookmark the page by pressing <kbd>Ctrl</kbd> + <kbd>T</kbd> and select to show it as a panel. </p> <p> Some Web pages provide special links (<span class="html">rel="sidebar"</span>) that make it easy to add Web pages as Hotlist panels. </p> <p> <span class="note">Example:</span> Add the <a href="toc.html" title="Help" rel="sidebar">Help table of contents</a> as a Hotlist panel. </p> <p> <span class="note">Tip:</span> Right-click the Hotlist Web-page area for multiple choices. </p> <p class="copyright">Copyright © 1995 - 2003 Opera Software ASA. <span class="nowrap">All rights reserved.</span></p> </body> </html>
