In particular, it can supply arguments to <TT CLASS="FUNCTION" >main()</TT > using the CYGDAT_LIBC_ARGUMENTS configuration option, and when returning from <TT CLASS="FUNCTION" >main()</TT >, or calling <TT CLASS="FUNCTION" >exit()</TT >, pending stdio file output is flushed and any functions registered with <TT CLASS="FUNCTION" >atexit()</TT > are invoked.
