local on the machine
 -- right click on the file/folder 
   -- TortoiseSVN/Import

REVISION folders:

local on the machine
 --right click on the folder 
   -- SVN checkout

match destination and source folders 
preferibely with the same name

 E.G: 
     http://opencores.org/ocsvn/uart_fpga_slow_control/uart_fpga_slow_control/trunk/documents
     local_pathE\MyOpenCores\uart_block\documents

better NOT revision single files

COMMIT and UPDATE to/from repository:

commit send files to the repository
update receives files from the repository

ADD new file to the repository:

local on the machine
  -- copy and paste files to a project forlder
  -- right click on the folder and TortoiseSVN/Add
    -- confirm the list of files to be addedd
  -- do a commit
