Hi,
we are using OCIDEC (1, no DMA...) on a XILINX Spartan II with the PCI target project. I'm trying to get it working on linux, but it seems that the ocidec.c driver is looking for an ISA bus on a NIOS machine. Is it possible to use it on a PIC bus? Has anyone got it working? Any clue? Thanks in advance, M |

Definitely. We had the OCPCI+OCIDE controllers running on a Linux
platform. You'll need to copy the core linux IDE controller code and
modify it slightly for the OCIDE controller, but AFAIK it's not a lot of work.
FYI I worked on the firmware but not the software for this project. And
sorry, no, I can't release any of the code - we don't own the IP. If you
have any specific questions I could try and re-direct them to the software
guru.
