I've seen no audio decoding core on your projects page. Do you think there are groups that work on that type of IP core ? Thanks. |

In the project view of opencores by default only finished projects are shown. There is a mp3 project with some code fragments, but it seems like no one is working on it. You need to change the display filter to show all projects. So far only people were asking for code here. Unfortunately no one has come up and tackled that task yet to finish a MP3 project. If you are looking for some other MP3 projects you might do a google search for >MP3 VHDL or Verilogshowed up some projects hosted somewhere else. Cheers, Guenter |

yes, there are.
try looking at www.brazilip.org.br. There are an mp3 decoder, an mpeg
decoder and an intel 8051 core available.

Ok, thanks Günter,
I've found the project, will take a look at it and maybe try to pursue.
I've seen that other people are interested in (MP3 decoder in VHDL),
maybe we can join toghether and finish this project.
