On a similar note, a Confluence user recently ported OR1200 to the
language. (Ken, are you going to post ORCF anytime soon?) "Ported" seems to imply that I used some other implementation as a base, which isn't so. That being said, it's still some distance from being complete. The basic instruction execution works, but there are a lot of the fiddly bits that aren't done yet, and some bigger pieces like interrupts, too. I broke some of the operand forwarding machinery in a recent reorganization of the pipeline, and I've recently convinced myself that I'm being far too clever for my own good in the way I'm doing pipeline stalls. I'd also like to get the cache implemented before I release it. I'll probably leave the MMU until later, though. The whole thing is being delayed by the annoying need to keep my day job, too. ;-) If I haven't turned it loose by April, prod me again. - ken |
