Stack machine cores?

Are there any open stack machine cores out
there? I'm thinking something simple, like
"forth on a chip" but I'll take a full-blown JVM
if someone's got it. ;)

Thanks,

-Michel

http://www.ultratechnology.com/chips.htm is a great starting point. See the JOP link at the bottom for a full blown JVM. -- Jecel

there are actually quite a many stack processor cores available.
some are special purpose some for forth and from
www.jopdesign.com you get your JVM also, it is currently only
working for Altera but I did some initial port for Xilinx, it is possible
but not fully tested. the JOP itself really works, I have an old
baord where the Java bztecode flashes a LED.

The port of JOP for Xilinx is finished and full source of JOP is also
available here at opencores.org.
