T80 core - NoIce Debugger Problem

Hello,
I have got some problem with the Noice debugger using with t80 core. I describe the problem briefly: I tried to use the core on a SPARTAN-3E kit. I use the DebugSystem.vhd top level modul. I wrote a simple wrapper with a proper DCM based clock ( 3.125 MHz), reset and connection to the rs232 connector (only tx and rx wire are used in this board). First I wrote a little program in C for the z80 (i am using SDCC). Generated a hex file and I have converted it to a vhd rom file by using hex2rom
hex2rom.exe test.hex MonZ80 11l8s > MonZ80.vhd
The synthesis (Xilinx xst ) and implementation a programmed the fpga and it worked well. after that I wrote another test (in SDCC) code to check the serial connection... it worked properly too... so far everything is OK. I wanted to use noice debugger. I got the noice monitor asm code for z80 provided by the noice debugger (I have changed the base address for the UART). I used the PseudoSam assembler for making the hex file. After that I converted to a vhd rom file with hex2rom. Here I got the first warning:
Warning: End of file record address not zero!
(what does it mean exactly? it is serious?)
I made the bit file, configured the FPGA and I try to communicate with
NoIce. No response at all...
I have tried to debug with modelsim and chipscope too but there was no
advance. It seems there is error in the program ( or I have made some
serious mistake) because the chipscope and the modelsim show that the
processor runs but after init at the uart receiving routin it gets into
an endless loop.
Sum:
processor works
short C code works
rs232 works
---
monz80.asm, NoIce Communication -- doesnt work
I suspect there is something wrong with the asm code or with the
PseudoSam (I do some mistake but i dont know what).
I use the configuration given by the Debugsystem.vhd... nothing changed.
Should I use another assembler (I dont have other) ?
Could anybody help me please ??
Thank You in advance '
T.
