Implementing Plasma MIPS on Quartus II (Web)

Hi everyone,
I've just signed up to this forum. I am a student currently not only just
learning the wonders of VHDL and FPGAs, but also undertaking a project at my
university here in Australia to build a flight controller using an FPGA.
I'd really like to be able to use a MIPS processor as I'm very familiar with
its design and use, so to be able to find a core that can implement MIPS
instructions like the Plasma core is an exciting prospect for me.
The only development utility I have is Quartus II Web Edition. I've got a
development kit and have built some fun, crappy little projects.
What I'd really like to know is how I can get Quartus to actually see the
library that I import. This isn't just a question based on the Plasma core,
but any really!!!!
I create a new project obviously, then I go into Project | Add\Remove files
in Project.
I find the files, and add them in. I didn't expect it to compile right out
of the repository, I figured I'd have to configure, but I have no idea how
to tell the software, or VHDL in that matter where files are, and how
libraries work with each other.
My experience is with java, and there is a classpath that defines that sorta
stuff, and subdirectories are interpreted in the import definitions by using
dots.
e.g. import com.projectdirecory.subdirectory.className;
So ANY, absolutely ANY help on how Quartus and libraries work in VHDL would
be greatly appreciated. I've looked around online and in the Quartus help,
but ironically it was no help!
Thanks in advance
- Justin
