If you read the information at the Viterbi project page, you can see that this project is in the ”planning” stage. However it was created in 2004 so I suspect that the maintainer never uploaded any files to OpenCores.

Do the following:
Send an email to the maintainer and ask if he/she plan to upload any files!

The OC-team will shortly review all project and try to ”clean-up” the project-list.

Hi,
I think you can use the "Vitebi HDL Code Generator" project. I've been using it for some time now and it works great. I verified the generated core functionality in simulation and on an FPGA.
The project was recently updated to include additional features and bug fixes. You can find some help regarding the generator in this forum I posted a few months ago. The project developer also added a link in the project page.
