PCI core, Spartan III, using RAMB16 instead of RAMB4?

Hello
I'd like to know if it's possible to use RAMB16 of the Xilinx Spartan III
with the PCI core.
Currently, the core define WB_XILINX_RAMB4 and PCI_XILINX_RAMB4, which use
256x16 bits BRAM (4K). The Spartan III have 16Kbits BRAM.
Could I modify the pci_xxx_tpram.v files to use RAMB16 instead of RAMB4?
This way, I could use 2 BRAM of 32 bits with depth of 512, instead of 3 BRAM
of 16 bits with depth of 256 (to total 40 bits).
I could add a constant WB_XILINX_RAMB16 and PCI_XILINX_RAMB16.
Are the 2 pci_xxx_tpram.v files the only places that I would need to modify?
Of course, the documented addresses width would need to be adjusted in the
user config file (9 bits instead of 8 for example, since the buffers would
be 512 elements deep).
Has anyone done it? Is there some validity check done in some other files
that would need to be adjusted, or just doing the above changes work?
Thanks
Eric
