hi opencores members!

last september was the first open source hardware summit.

in the time since then the first version of the open source hardware
definition made it to version 1.0.

you can read it here:
http://freedomdefined.org/OSHW

in my opinion it is well written and (as not english native) good to
understand. it is not a license! it's a way to see if a license is good
enough too call a licensed object "open hardware".

currently the logo contest is running. you can still submitt logos
untill the 3. march:
http://www.openhardwaresummit.org/oshw-logo-v1-0/

this process could help us solve the licensing issue we are facing for years now!
