I have DFC designs development board which has Spartan 3E fpga board.

I want to implement the opencores AVR IP core on this fpga. I have a query that how to check the core is working after loading on fpga, also whether I have correctly allocated the proper pins in ucf file??

There is at means three AVR core at opencores. What core do you use ?
