Hello,
I am currently working on a multi processor project, where I would like to modify existing opencores. I was looking at the MB-Lite core, since I will be using a Xilinx Virtex 5 board together with its ISE and EDK. I tried to set up a basic system such that I could run a small C program on it and validate its correctness. I was working with the Altera toolchain before and the NIOS softcore, but I am somewhat lost here with the MB-Lite. I managed to synthesize the core version successfully, but I don't know how to add MB-Lite to XPS' system builder? When I add MB-Lite as a module I only see a PLB input, without any outputs? The inputs look very different from MicroBlaze' inputs. I must have done something wrong? Do I need the wishbone bus, or would that be necessary if I want to add additional modules with a wishbone interface? It would be great if someone could help me, because there is not much documentation available on how to create a system. Thanks a lot. Regards, Flo |
