I'm currently in the process of developing core components in vhdl that need to be DO254 compliant. I know more or less what some of the DO254 requirements are but I don't know what the difference would be from the component development's point of view. Say for simplicity sake, you needed to re-design a full-adder to make it DO254 compliant, what would the difference be as opposed to how you would normally design it now vs making DO254 compliant? Does anyone know of any sample code that might be able to get me started?
