I had recently downloaded the source code for ac'97 from http://opencores.org . I had found that the simulation commands that are written in makefile (ac97/trunk/sim/rtl_sim/run/Makefile) are ncverilog commands.

As it is not possible for me to buy ncverilog simulator, I am using Icarus Verilog simulator.

Can any one give me the compilation instructions for ac'97 in Icarus simulator???

Hi chaitutallapaneni

One of the great things about open source is that you can fix things yourself. Why not try replacing NC commands by the equivalent Icarus Verilog commands.

If you have problems, you'll probably be able to find help on IRC. Channel #opencores at freenode.net.
