Yes it works leon3 have a template for digilent spartan 3E/1600.

Dear Marinos, LEON3 can be implemented on Spartan3E-1600. The IP library that LEON3 is distributed with, GRLIB, already contains a template design for the Digilent Spartan3-1600E Evaluation board. |
