Hey everybody ! , I am from India so.. wishing you all Happy Diwali ! .
I just studied about picoblaze and wanted to write a simple counter using picoblaze and implement it on spartan 3e , can anyone give me some examples of picoblaze , very basic please . Those available on Xilinx website are a bit complex . |

I tried a code -
counter_port DSOUT $01 delay_port DSOUT $02 ORG 0 main: LOAD s0, $FF CALL increment OUT s0, ( 1 ) CALL delay JUMP $01 end_main: increment: ADD s0, $01 RET end_increment: delay: LOAD s1, $FF OUT s1, ( 2 ) SUB s1, $01 OUT s1, ( 2 ) JUMP NZ, $009 RET end_delay: VHDL "embedded_kcpsm3.vhd", "counter_target.vhd", "counter_ROM" - except for the last line , the code simulates as expected , but how to generate the VHDL file that i would be requiring to implement it on Spartan 3e ?? The last line shows an error - skeleton file not found |

Every tools for picoBlaze I know are effectively using a skeleton. To put it differently :
you start with a assembler PSM file and to transform it in VHDL you need also a file named ROM_form.vhd : two files as input and one as output. Hope this helps |
