Hi,

I am simulating the rel_0_1_beta version of t400 micro-controller project, using ModelSim6.4 and i get these errors:

# ** Warning: NUMERIC_STD."=": metavalue detected, returning FALSE
# Time: 0 ns Iteration: 0 Instance: /tb_t411
# ** Warning: NUMERIC_STD."=": metavalue detected, returning FALSE
# Time: 0 ns Iteration: 0 Instance: /tb_t411
# ** Fatal: (vsim-7) Failed to open VHDL file "rom_41x.hex" in rb mode.
# No such file or directory. (errno = ENOENT)
# Time: 0 ns Iteration: 0 Process: /tb_t411/t411_b/t410_notri_b/pmem_b/rom_b/memory File: H:/t400 final/lpm_rom.vhd
# Fatal error in Process memory at H:/t400 final/lpm_rom.vhd line 306
#

Can anyone help me on how to remove this error?
Thanks

To resolve this issue, you'd need to generate a hex-file for the processor and place it in the current simulation directory. The hex-file contains the instruction code and is required for proper operation of the core.
Please refer to the verification tests in sw/verif/black_box for sample code that can be assembled with ASL. In sw/verif/include you'll find Makefiles for an automated build of the verification tests that generate suitable hex-files.

Cheers,
Arnim
