Hello everybody,
I would like using T51 Core (8032 core exactly). I'm using a microsemi FPGA smartfusion for my design. I pass to import 8032 core in my design. Compile is ok. My only problem is: How can I send a program (hex file) in my 8032core ? Thanks for advance for your answers. Guillaume |

Embedded compilers (e.g. SDCC) typically spit out their results in Intel Hex format or Motorola S-record format, most useful for PROM programmers. If you look in the TV80 project, there is a script called ihex2mem.py that converts Intel Hex into Verilog $readmemh format so it can be read in by the simulator.
This script should work for any Verilog simulator; you can modify the script to translate to a format more friendly to a VHDL simulator. |
