Needed VGA core Linux driver

Hi,

I'm looking for a Linux (2.6.38) VGA frame buffer driver, for ARM porting, that works with OpenCores VGA/LCD core. Found vga16fb driver in the kernel sources - but it is supported only for X86 & PPC architectures (not for ARM). I'm not even sure if this is the right driver to be used.

Any information and/or pointers will be appreciated.
