Hello to all,
I am pursuing my M.Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems. I am little confuse about selection of appropriate project. I want to do my project in vLSI Systems only. Can anyone suggest me which type of project should i opt for in VLSI front end as well as back end to enhance my knowledge.
Thanking you.

Hi Rizu,

Surely your tutors should be advising on this? Lots of good projects here, but we can't replace your academic advisors.

Please be careful when using a core here. Read the agreements (both the core's licenses and academic rules) to study if they are against each other.

Hi tennirva,

All the cores on OpenCores should have an open source license, usually LGPL, GPL or BSD. If you know of anything that does not have an open source license, please let us know - it shouldn't be here!

I've never come across an academic institution that does not permit use of open source material for student projects. There are quite a few who mandate that it must be open source to allow free publication.

Best wishes,

Jeremy
