Hi Everyone,
I have one SD card, two SD Sniffers and an Actel Dev board. What I wanna do is like this: insert one SD sniffer without a SD card into my computer, connect it to the FPGA board as input, then connect another SD sniffer with SD card to the FPGA board as output. The FPGA board will do nothing but work as a buffer. I expect that my computer could detect the SD card through above connection. I know that when the SD is connected to the computer, it automatically choose 4-bit SD mode. So the data lines become bi-directional. and cannot be simply buffered. So I was told to use this SD card controller. But I'm pretty new to IP Core. I'm wondering whether I can get a output enable signal from this core. If I could, how can I get it? |

Hi, is it not more easy to google for SD 4 bit mode code.. ? You'll find how to drive it.
I remember some article using a ATMega microcontroller, then you can do it by yourself using HDL and/or ie: NIOS. |
