So... When did the OpenCores "cores" forum turn into a "help me with my homework" forum?

Come on guys... Do your own work...

Hi Zhu Xu,

I just utilize your shared PID core in my project, so i want to check something with you here

As for the coefficients setting, i have some doubts/questions as following:

16-bitsignedcoefficientanddatainput:Kp,Ki,Kd,SP and PV.

-Q1: these coefficients should be unsigned rather than signed, right?
-Q2: Kp,Ki,Kd are all fractional inputs, right? or some bits stands integer part? what are their valid value region?

32-bitsignedu(n)output.

-Q: is it a 32-bit integer signed output? should have infractional part, so i just want to know how wide the infrational part is, 16-bit?

thanks a lot

Mengjie
