SD card....

Hi!,
I'am facing with a problem. I'am designing a Secure Digital SD (memory, IO) Card device controller,
The condition is that clock to the SD CARD comes
from the SD Host only, and no other source. This being
the case the specification says that even if the Clock
supply to the SD card is stopped the programming into
the FLASH Memory does not stop. Now how can
programming be done without a clock.
I agree that FLASH does not need any clock for
programming but the problem is the related signals
that goes into the FLASH (CE#, OE#, CLE#, WE#, CIO#)
all will work W.R.T the clock.
Please can anyone help ?
Thanks in advance
Pranesh
