Hello,

I have:
linux: rh9
wine: 20041019
ise-6.1.

Most things work just fine under wine but for some reason I keep getting
the:
"Not able to add errors to file 'test_04150500.mrp" error.

I've tried it with various filenames and have checked my dlls etc. I
have also tried it under various project trees. xst, ngdbuild, and
sch2vhdl work fine.

Thanks in advance...

Robert W.

I know this isn't the answer to the question that you asked. But on the off chance that you weren't aware. Xilinx ISE 7.1 Webpack was just released with native Linux support enabled. The selection of devices has also been significantly expanded. Unless you need support for a very large device, or you specifically require ISE6.1, I would recommend downloading this and trying it out. Good luck On 4/15/05, rtwas rtwas at comcast.net> wrote:

Thanks for the comment. I already checked. The version of "map.exe" is
identical in both versions.

I think what Jeremy meant was that ISE 7.1 for Linux does not need the
Wine emulator at all! Even if the map.exe has the same version,
perhaps the native version for Linux does not have the problem you
had.

Hope that helps,

Jung.

Make shure you can write to the "c:\windows" directory, for some (bizarre) reason map needs to create temporals on this directory instead of what the TEMP environment variable says.
