Wow...

Well... That's it... It's time for me to get a little ranty...

@Rada_Lucien... This forum (and the site) is not a place where people come to whine about how tough the pursuit of their Engineering degree has been... This is *your* senior project... Unless the process at your University works differently from the process used at EVERY other university on the planet, you chose this project. Additionally, you've had at least one, potentially two, semesters to work on this. I looked at your code. If you spent half as much time learning VHDL (which is what many of us ended up doing when faced with your "problem"), as you have whining and making excuses, you'd have been finished a month ago. Given that most of your code is lifted from other sources, it doesn't look to me like you did THAT much work on this project to start with. Additionally, it also sounds like you were asleep during most of your lectures on Engineering Ethics. From where I sit it sounds to me like you've got plenty of "ass" left to work off, sport... Pick up a VHDL text book... Find an online tutorial... (and for goodness sake, pick up a newer version of ISE...)

Here's the assistance I'll offer you. Post an email address for your professor. I'll see to it that your whining about working hard to become an Engineer, in conjunction with your willingness to PAY someone to complete your senior project, is addressed quickly and efficiently. Let me also make it clear that I'm not "offended"... I'm not angry... I'm pointing out to you that it is UNETHICAL for you to offer to pay someone to complete your senior project. Not only is it unethical, it's also probably a violation of your University's honor code. Someone applies a little pressure and what do you do? Instead of the response that most of us would choose (put nose to grindstone, and apply pressure) you choose to cheat. I believe this says something about your character. You got yourself into this situation, take responsibility for it, and fix it. Stop blaming your professor, your neighbors, and your family dog, because they are all unwilling to do YOUR work for you.

I have no way to stop you from posting here, and I'm probably too busy to hunt you down and find your professor myself, but I'm going to strongly suggest that you stop posting these whiny missives and do your best to get your project finished. I wouldn't take a chance on me being too busy, though... Whining about how hard your life has been, or how your own choices have doomed your degree, just takes energy away from getting your work done. If you don't finish and you fail senior project, then you take ONE CLASS over again, having (I bloody hope) learned some relevant and important lessons.

So... Go finish your project... None of us got any sleep last night... We all work hard... Stop your bitching... If your parents haven't already told you this... Stop trying to cheat your way through life...

Good grief...

Wow .. I saw that some people are frustrated , but damn .. IT WAS NOT MY CHOISE THIS PROJECT . What honor code ? You don t know what you are speaking of . In theory you have 1 semester to work at the project( the moment you are given the project until presentation ) but there are still exams and classes you must attend to . EBay takes 1 or 2 months to send a package from China( It remains less than 2 months to work) .. If you want to play smart just say that you don t help , don t say nasty things about me to spill your nerves.. Yes , I am willing to "reward" the person that help me .. My future does not depend on my VHDL knowledge , I am already hired as a software developer .. Why do I need to learn everything about VHDL for 1 project ? Understand what I am saying ? Someone comes at you and say .. If you do this project (anything) , but do it properly ( and it is not your field of work ) I will recompense you with a sum of money for that task . Those money can't cover up for the work you need to do to learn everything about that domain in such a short time . Ex : You're a mechanic and someone come at you and gives you 20.000 $ to make him a swimming pool in 1 month . You draw the conclusions .

Another sad lesson comes from the "Mythical Man Month": If you add more people (i.e. the OpenCores individuals you are asking for counsel) to an already late project, it will become later.

I've also heard it explained this way: Just because it takes one woman nine months to have a child, doesn't mean that nine women can have a child in one month. (Pipelining aside ...)

Please allow me to congratulate Rada for successfully completing his project on time! (No, I didn't help, either, he did it on his own.)

Congratulations, Rada!
