Hello I'm a newbye in FPGA and i want to start some project to use it, i think in a universal programmer, can anybody tell me a book to start my work, i think that verilog are good start point, or is recomendable that i use VHDL? How prototipe board i can use to make tests? Regards. ----------------------------------------------- Marcos Lois Bermúdez Director de I+D+i IQC - Services S.L. Avda. HI, You would need to search on the web for material on the prototype boards. Altera has many. Xilinx also has many. Its upto the user to decide which development platform they can go for. Comming to "starting your work", I would suggest you to first decide clearly what you plan to achieve. If you are a student and want to do it as a part of your acads, this is NOT the right place probably to put in your query. In any case, you would need to start off from the basics of digital design, and NOT from verilog or VHDL. they are only the media to implement your design idea. if one has the basic approach for writing RTL, coding one's design idea in the choosen language would never be a problem. -Ramakrishna Marcos Lois Bermúdez marcos.lois at iqc-services.com> wrote: Hello I'm a newbye in FPGA and i want to start some project to use it, i think in a universal programmer, can anybody tell me a book to start my work, i think that verilog are good start point, or is recomendable that i use VHDL?
