VHDL help needed

Hi all!
I believe that a few years ago I posted about getting some help in
replicating the Bally/Astrocade through an FPGA using an HDL.
Now, thanks to Mike Johnson and other cores from this site, T80, we are
very close to eing finished. Currently, Mike has gotten a high-res VHDL
simulation of the Bally/Astrocade running on a Spartan 3e starter board.
I am trying to wrap up some final pieces before a daughterboard or
motherboard replacement is created.
I would like to get some help in brute-force replicating the INS8154 that
is used in the Blue RAM system for the Bally/Astrocade. The INS8154 is
a 128 by 8-bit RAM I/O. Nothing fancy but having it replicated will allow
use of the various Blue RAM utilities.
We have found a simple ADC chip to get the four knob inputs from the
Bally/Astrocade and that will be utilized once we have the everything
else in place. Again, most of the work has been done. Now it's just a
choice of what we do to get a replacement motherboard or a daughter
board to an existing FPGA product, such as the XSA-200.
Please feel free to contact me at james.krych at us.army.mil or
jwkrych at n2net.net
Also, please check out www.fpgaarcade.com to view the
Bally/Astrocade VHDL simulation and www.ballyalley.com for all things
Bally/Astrocade related-including the Yahoo group link.
Kindest regards,
James Krych
