I'm trying to hook up the opb2wb core in my design in EDK and get this
error when I try to build the netlist. Any ideas? I am using a virtex 4 and that does not appear to be in the C_FAMILY list so maybe that is the problem? For some reason, I can not get the opb2wb core from opencores, and it
has been a while since I looked at it, so this is from memory.
The Black Box Definition (BBD) files in EDK specify netlist. You can
use parameters to chose between multiple netlist, for example versions
for Virtex-2 or Virtex-4.
I remember that these wrappers had netlist in them, but not if they had
multiple versions.
I think, but am not positive, that you could use a *.ngc netlist for a
Virtex-2 or 2p with a Virtex-4, and the mapper should fix up any
differences.
If that is the case, try either changing a Virtex-2 or 2P entry to a
virtex-4 entry, or copy a netlist and add the Virtex-4 to the C_FAMILY
list.
