The MP3 Decode in VHDL thread has been going around for years and everybody on this email list is completely fed up with it. Nobody has ever been sent VHDL code and nobody will. An additional note: If you plan to sell this, keep in mind that you have to pay something for every device and 15,000 USD per year minimum: http://www.mp3licensing.com/royalty/hardware.html If it is possible with your project, it would be less expensive to implement Ogg/Vorbis or something like this in VHDL.
