usage of or32-uclinux-sim

Hello all,
I downloaded the prebuilt tool chain, there is a file or32-uclinux- sim. Is it a simulator of openrisc? Can it be used to run a or32 executable file to simulate the operation of openrisc with the file? If it is, can anyone tell me how to use it when I have a or32 executable file. Thank you very much.
