IOPERM in Cygwin

Hi all,
I've figured out that my jp1-xilinx executable is crashing because I removed
the IOPERM function call removed. When I put it in the code, it won't compile.
It says the function is not found. I followed the instructions on this site:
http://openwince.sourceforge.net/ioperm/
but still cannot manage to get the compiler to see the function definition. Any
ideas?

Okay, after much frustration, I fixed this. You have to use the same compiler
as used to build the simulator, and you have to compile each executable
independently. The make file just doesn't work.
Now if I can just get it to connect to the board!
