Many thanks to everyone who has helped thus far. We can now send characters

hit two snags:

1- How do I go about simulating uClinux? I can't seem to figure this out.

just build it, and then execute

or32-uclinux-sim -f sim.cfg vmlinux

perhaps the ATS script can be of some help.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped thus far. We can now send characters
from one machine, through JTAG and the board, to another machine. But now we've
hit two snags:

1- How do I go about simulating uClinux? I can't seem to figure this out.

2- What are the steps involved in writing a simple LED module in the Verilog
code. We're looking to control the LED display on the board via data sent from
my computer (the same one we send the string "hello world" from.)

Thanks!

You know what? I just realized it never built correctly. It gives me errors. Has anyone encountered this problem before? (I'm borderling switching from Cygwin to "true" Linux, with all the problems I've been having.) Thanks, Chris Zitat von Matjaz Breskvar phoenix@opencores.org>:
