I just got an XSA-3S1000 from Xess. Last year I had managed to get a
minimal openrisc SOC squeezed into a Spartan 2 300k and with the help of a
DRAM board run uclinux. However I really could not do much more because I
did not have any space left.
Now that I have a over 3x the gates and with built flash and dram on the
Xess board I will be able to do a bit more.

The main goal is to add on a board for mmc card storage and an ethernet
port. If there are enough remaining gates I hope to do some experimentation
with dynamic reconfiguration. If not, I will have to wait for an affordable
1.5M gate to come out.

Mainly I am just curious if anyone has started working with this board yet.
