Hello Everyone,
Is there any manual compiled for uClibC & uClinux or something that
will help me customize uClibC & uClinux for gcc 3.4.2?

Thanks,

Balaji V. Iyer.

What custimization do you have in mind ? (I'd suggest to first try
with gcc-3.2.3 since on older kernels one would expect less problems
with older compilers)

Matjaz,
Thank you for your quick reply. I have already started working on gcc
3.4.2 and right now porting what I have done back to GCC 3.2.3 would
not be feasible. This is why I wanted to see if I can port uClibC. I
needed uClibC because I am looking at the compiler output for certain
set of codes that requires some C libraries. Any help from you would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Balaji V. Iyer.

why don't you use the uClibc in the opencores cvs? I
know there are two versions, the really old one that goes
with uclinux and a new one (under linux directory) that works with linux
2.4.x and 2.6.x. I'd suggest using the newer one, and if it's
feasible linux instead of uclinux (which is quite old now). If uclinux
is a requirement (ie no MMU) you could also try and add uclinux stuff to
linux port. (if you're considering that, please contact me
to discuss details...)
